![]() It’s part of their routine, something they both expect: Perry bursts in, gets trapped, patiently listens to doof’s rant of the day, escapes the trap, fights his nemesis, and blows up the Inator. And he always waits for Doofenshmirtz to finish monologuing before escaping from them. Sadie was quite a fan of this plan as it meant she was able to enjoy extra rounds of fetch, long walks and playtime at the park.Bold of you to assume that Perry doesn’t let himself get trapped on purpose at least 2/3 of the time. The weather was fantastic in Charlotte this weekend and beckoned to us to spend as much time as possible outside. ![]() Pizza for breakfast doesn’t happen often but when it does, I love every second of it! It takes me back to childhood sleepovers when we’d all dig into cold pizza for breakfast the next morning. The leftover pizza made for a great breakfast on Sunday morning! Pizza for breakfast will always be a personal favorite. On Saturday night, we ordered pizza and watched some of the March Madness games with friends at our house. That’s the goal, anyway! (If you’re in a nursery planning phase right now and love the neutral look as well, you can see more of my nursery inspiration photos on my Baby board on Pinterest.) The above photos reflect my nursery vision – aka my dream nursery! Even though I’m sure our nursery will not look nearly as gorgeous as my inspiration photos, I’m hoping we can achieve a look that’s neutral and very calming. Ryan finished painting the nursery this weekend! Yay! I am so grateful to him for taking over this monotonous task while I straightened up the house and we’re both very pleased with the end result. This was a great decision and I’m pretty sure Ryan and I will never return to Bonefish Grill again without ordering this dish! They were warm and doughy with a crispy, sugary outside – perfect for dipping in fluffy whipped cream and buttery caramel sauce. We couldn’t leave without ordering something sweet and turned to the IN + ON Bar Bites menu again and selected the doughnut bites for dessert. He could not stop raving about the oysters and I’m crossing my fingers that they’ll still be on the menu when I’m no longer pregnant and can order raw oysters again since they’re one of my favorite foods! Ryan went with more classic seafood dishes and ordered the ceviche appetizer and an oyster dish off the seasonal menu. I was craving a big, juicy burger like nobody’s business and as someone who could basically eat seafood all day everyday, this totally surprised me! I went with the craving though and I was so, so glad I did because the burger knocked my socks off. They were very cheesy and we had no problem polishing off every last one before our entrées came out.įor my main meal, I went a bit out of character and ordered the burger! Yes, a burger at a seafood restaurant… Let’s roll with it! The lobster taco was my favorite bite, as it was served in a crispy wonton taco shell which I thought was really innovative and also quite delicious! We shared the mac + cheese bites that came out in a bed of sweet chili sauce that definitely added to the flavor of the dish. Ryan was a big fan of the shooter – neither of us had ever seen anything like it before – and I was bummed I wasn’t able to try it since raw oysters are off the table for me right now. ( Clockwise from left to right: Oyster Shooter, Lobster Taco, Mac + Cheese Bites) We then selected an assortment of appetizers from the IN + ON Bar Bites menu to try. Ryan and I began our meal with drinks – a blackberry mocktail for me, please! Leggings with a little flare? Yes, please! This poncho sweater was ridiculously comfortable and will also continue to work when I actually do have a big baby bump underneath!Īnd the maternity zip leggings are right up my alley. If you send me a giant cape-like sweater during this super-awkward stage in pregnancy, I will absolutely wear it! My belly just looks super thick right now and lacks the cute, rounded baby bump shape, so giant sweaters/tunics are my best friend. I broke into my latest Stitch Fix box and wore two items from my first maternity fix. The highpoint of our weekend occurred on Friday night when Ryan and I headed out for a date night at Bonefish Grill!Ī little more than a month ago, Bonefish Grill reached out to me with an invitation to sample a few goodies from their new IN + ON Bar Bites menu and we finally got around to planning a night out on Friday! This weekend was all about productivity for the Fagan family! We spent the vast majority of our Saturday and Sunday cleaning and organizing around house but in between deep cleaning our master bathroom (much needed!), working in the yard and making multiple trips to Lowe’s, we somehow managed to have some fun, too!
